Whether you've got the NBN or you're still on ADSL, to get fast and reliable connections to all your wireless home-network devices you need a fast wireless router for your home Wi-Fi. We lab test and compare models to help you find the best wireless router for you.

Our wireless routers buying guide explains what features to look for, while our guide to how we test wireless and mesh routers explains our testing rigour.

Please note: This is a test of wireless routers, not modem routers (gateways). We test major ISP-supplied basic NBN gateways as well.

Shopping links on the CHOICE website

CHOICE is an independent, nonprofit organisation dedicated to helping consumers. Clicking a link will take you to a retailer's website to shop. While we make money if you buy through some retailer links, this doesn't influence any of our rankings. 100% of the money we make goes straight back into our nonprofit mission. We're currently testing this service and will consider providing more shopping links in the future. Tell us what you think.
